The Atlantic sailfish is a magnificent predator, easily recognized by its distinctive, large dorsal fin that resembles a sail. They are pelagic, meaning they inhabit the open ocean, and are renowned for their incredible speed, capable of reaching over 60 mph. When hooked, sailfish often put on a breathtaking show, leaping and dancing across the water's surface. Targeting these powerful fish requires a skilled hand and the right approach.
